‎The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has distributed a total of N2.036 trillion among the Federal Government, state governments and local government councils as revenue allocation for March 2026.

‎The disbursement was announced after the committee’s April meeting held in Abuja.

‎According to the breakdown, the shared sum comprised N1.320 trillion from statutory revenue, N515.391 billion from Value Added Tax (VAT), and N200 billion as augmentation.

‎From the total allocation, the Federal Government received N789.159 billion, while the 36 states got N657.596 billion. Local government councils received N468.826 billion, while oil-producing states were allocated N120.759 billion as derivation revenue.

‎FAAC also disclosed that gross revenue available in March stood at N2.364 trillion.

‎The committee noted that collections from Companies Income Tax (CIT) and excise duties recorded increases during the period, while revenues from oil-related sources declined.

‎The monthly FAAC allocation remains a major source of funding for the three tiers of government, supporting public spending, salaries, infrastructure projects and service delivery nationwide.
