
The state commissioner for Information and Orientation, Abdullahi Mustapha Aliyu said the government decided to engage in the construction of a $38 million US Dollar 5-Star hotel as part of efforts to boost tourism in the state.
Aliyu also disclosed that the government has awarded three other contracts namely the construction of a governor’s lodge in Kaduna at the cost of N421,583,877.53 and the restructuring and upgrading of the Governor’s Lode in Abuja at the cost of N493,412,383.41. While the Abuja contract was awarded to Savanah Associate limited with the specification of five months completion period, the Kaduna contract went to Sageto Nigeria Limited and is expected to be delivered within eight months.
