It stated in part, “Crenov8 embarked on this mission in 2017 to create a platform where African agricultural producers will meet with off-takers in the Middle East and beyond to effectively translate business deals and network, collaborate and form potential business partnerships across borders, to ensure food security in the Middle East and promote agribusiness in Africa.
“The 2017 MTFC, which held in Dubai, received high government and private sector recognition and was hugely successful.”
The Business Consultant at Crenov8 Consulting, Bola Oyedele, was quoted as saying, “The MTCF is targeted at both large and small-scale farmers to tap into the $100bn market in Dubai. That is why we are partnering relevant stakeholders across both governments to help us aggregate farmers to export agric produce to the United Arab Emirates.
“This year, Crenov8 successfully held editions of the conference in Ghana, Kenya and Rwanda. The MTFC is supported by the Federal Ministry Industry, Trade and Investment, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture, GEO Travels, Wal-Wanne and Sons, FarmCrowdy, among others.”
The conference would feature speakers such as the Chief Executive Officer, Farmcrowdy, Onyeka Akumah; the President of the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Babatunde Ruwase; and other renowned agric stakeholders in Nigeria, the organisers added.
