‎Tinubu Appoints New Heads for SHESTCO, NEMSA

‎President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of Hon. Magaji Da’u Aliyu as the Managing Director of the Sheda Science and Technology Complex (SHESTCO), Abuja, as part of fresh leadership changes across key federal agencies.

‎The President also appointed Engr. Adesayo Olusegun Michael as the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency (NEMSA), alongside the constitution of a new board for the agency.

‎SHESTCO, a federal research institution, is responsible for technology-driven research and development and operates Nigeria’s nuclear research facility.

‎The newly appointed NEMSA board members include Engr. Aliyu Abdulazeez (Executive Director, Technical), Ikechi Clara Nwosu (Chairman, South East), Zubair Abdur’rauf Idris (Member), Igba Elizabeth (Member, North Central), Sani Alhaji Shehu (Member, North East), Adeyemi Adetunji (Member, South West), Engr. Emmanuel Eneji Nkpe (Member, South South), and Engr. Charles Ogbonna Asogwa (Member, South East).

‎In a related development, President Tinubu nominated Amina Gamawa (Bauchi) and Abdullahi Muktar (Kaduna) as Commissioners for the Revenue Mobilisation Allocation and Fiscal Commission (RMAFC), with their names forwarded to the Senate for confirmation.

‎The appointments were disclosed in a statement issued on Tuesday by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, who noted that the moves form part of ongoing efforts to strengthen governance and institutional capacity in strategic sectors.
