Prof. Pantami to Deliver Keynote Speeches on AI in Healthcare and Education in Kaduna

Professor Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, CON, the former Minister of Communications and Digital Economy and Co-Chairman of the African Union’s 4th Industrial Revolution Policy Council, is scheduled to deliver keynote speeches at two prestigious events in Kaduna State this week, focusing on the transformative role and ethical implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

AI in Healthcare and Ethical Boundaries
The first event is the 26th National Scientific Conference of the Islamic Medical Association of Nigeria (IMAN), the national body representing Muslim medical doctors. The conference is slated for Thursday, December 4, 2025, at the Banquet Hall, Arewa, Kaduna.
Pantami’s keynote address will explore “Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare: Benefits and Ethical Boundaries,” highlighting AI’s role in enhancing diagnosis, personalized medicine, and clinical workflows.

AI in Education and National Implications
On the following day, Friday, December 4, 2025, Professor Pantami will deliver a Keynote Speech at the Annual Public Lecture and General Meeting of the Zaria Education Development Association (ZEDA), hosted by Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.

His address will focus on “Artificial Intelligence in Education: Opportunities, Challenges, and Ethical Implications in the Nigerian Education System”.
AI is rapidly emerging as one of the most significant inventions of the 21st century, with the potential to contribute $15.7 trillion to the global gross domestic product by 2030 and create approximately a net gain of 12 million jobs annually. Professor Pantami has delivered numerous convocation lectures and keynote speeches on the subject this year alone.
