The Rivers State Government is set to inaugurate the N60million Aqua Culture farms in Ndoni, Opobo and Ubima communities. Special Adviser to the Governor Chibuike Amaechi on Deep Water,Mr. Korotamunor Briggs, made the revelation when youths of Opobo community paid him a courtesy visit in his office in Port Harcourt.
He said the first phase of the farm would commence this month (August) in the designated locations across the State. Briggs said: “The N60million Aqua project is to empoweryouths of Rivers State. Some of the youths will be trained in the area of aqua faming,” adding that the success of the first batch of trainees would encourage others to sign in.
