Kaduna Economic Board strategizes With Local Governments For Inclusive Development
Synergy between Local Government Councils and State Government Agencies have been identified as strategy for an inclusive development across the communities.
This was stressed by the Chairman and Honourable Commissioner of Kaduna State Economic Planning Board, Muhammad Sani Abdullahi in a joint meeting of the State Economic Planning between the newly elected 23 council chairmen and Head of relevant government agencies, Tuesday in Kaduna.

Honourable Sani Abdullahi emphasized the need for collaboration between the Local Government and relevant State Agencies for an all-inclusive development. He also urged Local Government Chairmen to be proactive and provide the enabling environments to attract investments that will provide jobs and reduce poverty in their respective LGAs.
The Commissioner congratulated both new and returning members to the EPB meeting. The EPB is a constitutional forum which holds monthly and brings together the Local Governments and State Government entities to discuss developmental strategies, identify problems and proffers solutions to challenges being faced at the grass-root level.
The newly sworn-in Administrators of Municipal Authorities namely Kafanchan, Kaduna and Zaria being co-opted members of the board were also in attendance.
The meeting was co-chaired by the Commissioner Ministry for Local Government Affairs, Dr Shehu Makarfi, focused on finalization of 2022 Local Government Budgets and 2021-2025 Draft Local Government Plan as well as the forthcoming Local Government Retreat.
