Tinubu Appoints Arinola to Nigeria Commodity Exchange Board

‎President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed Arinola Ogbara-Banjoko as a Non-Executive Director representing Lagos State on the board of the Nigeria Commodity Exchange under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.

‎Ogbara-Banjoko replaces Bamidele Hussein on the board.

‎The appointment was disclosed in a statement signed by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

‎According to the statement, President Tinubu had earlier in April constituted the board of the Exchange with Dalhatu Abubakar as chairman alongside other non-executive directors.

‎The presidency said the President expects the new appointee to deploy her wealth of experience and professionalism toward strengthening the operations of the exchange and supporting the Federal Government’s efforts to deepen commodity trading, expand market access for farmers and investors, and stimulate economic growth.
