Law Awards 2025 Set for December 6 at Transcorp Hilton Abuja
The Organizing Committee of the Law Awards has announced that the 6th Edition of the annual event, held in legal memory of the late Colossus Lucius E. Nwosu, SAN, will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.
Recognized as one of Nigeria’s most respected platforms for honouring excellence within the legal profession, the Law Awards continues to celebrate outstanding practitioners, institutions, and innovators contributing to the advancement of the legal sector across various fields.
In its official announcement, the Committee confirmed that respected legal icon Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, will serve as the Special Guest of Honour for the 2025 edition. His longstanding contributions to legal practice and professional leadership are expected to add prestige to this year’s ceremony.
The Organizers also acknowledged the crucial role of Barr. Prada Uzodinma, a member of the Screening Committee, who has been instrumental in the nominee review process. She was commended for bringing integrity, experience, and strong evaluative insight to the rigorous screening work.
In a statement, the Convener and Founder of the Law Awards, I.G. Nwosu, Esq., reaffirmed the vision behind the annual event.
