JUST IN: Amidst Lingering ASUU Strike, Aisha Buhari Announces Daughter-in-Law’s Graduation from Foreign Varsity

Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, has announced the graduation of her daughter-in-law, Zahra B. Buhari, from a foreign university.
This is happening at a time members and leaders of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) are embarking on street protests over the seven-month-old strike called by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
ASUU on February 14 embarked on strike and forced the closure of government-owned universities across the country.
In a Facebook post she made on Tuesday, Mrs Buhari congratulated Zahra who is married to her son, Yusuf Buhari, for graduating with first class honours.
“Congratulations to Mrs. Zahra B Buhari on your graduation with First Class Honors in Architectural Science. Wishing you all the best!” she said.
The graduation ceremony was attended by the First Lady herself, her son, Yusuf, and other family members and well-wishers.
