FAAC Disburses N1.818 Trillion Allocation for June 2025

The Federation Account Allocation Committee (FAAC) has disbursed a total of N1.818 trillion to the Federal, State, and Local Governments as revenue generated in June 2025, marking the highest monthly allocation so far this year.

The record allocation was announced in a communiqué issued after the FAAC meeting held in Abuja for July 2025. The meeting, attended by representatives from all tiers of government and revenue-generating agencies, reviewed revenue inflows for the previous month and agreed on the distribution formula in accordance with extant laws.

The substantial revenue surge is attributed to improved collections from oil and non-oil sources, bolstered by ongoing reforms and increased economic activity across the country.

The disbursed amount will be shared among the three tiers of government,cFederal, 36 States, and 774 Local Government Areas, to support critical governance needs, public services, and infrastructure projects nationwide.

This latest disbursement underscores a positive trajectory in national revenue performance and provides a fiscal boost for subnational governments grappling with developmental and security challenges.
