30 others win N50, 000 Shopping Vouchers

In commemoration of the 2015 Mother’s Day celebration, Nigeria’s leading milk brand- Three Crowns Milk from the stables of FrieslandCampina WAMCO has rewarded its esteemed consumers in the Mother’s Day Activation campaign.
The grand prize winner Mrs. Olamide Olaleye who emerged as the ‘Mum of the Year’ won an all-expense paid trip to Dubai alongside a companion of her choice while 29 other mothers were also rewarded with a whopping amount of N50,000.00 shopping voucher each.
The Three Crowns Milk Mother’s Day Activation is a Facebook based campaign in which consumers were expected to write on the Three Crown’s Facebook wall why their mum is the best mum in the world. These posts are judged on a daily basis starting from April 28 to May 7 (10 days) and 3 winners will be picked daily, while the overall winner emerge was adjudged on the last day of the campaign.
According to the Marketing Director, FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Mr. Tarang Gupta, the Three Crowns Milk Mother’s Day campaign is in line with the brand’s new Theme Campaign which is deeply rooted in recognizing the key role of mothers in the family.
Gupta noted that Three Crowns Milk as a low cholesterol milk brand that cares for the health and well-being of its consumers is joining the rest of the world to put a smile on the faces of mothers for their love and care for the family.
“The Mother’s Day campaign is another way Three Crowns Milk is reaching out to all Mother’s especially in Nigeria at this year’s occasion of the Mother’s Day Celebration for their significant role in the family ’’ he said.
Also speaking on the campaign, the Senior Brand Manager, Three Crowns Milk, Maureen Ifada, stated that celebrating Mothers especially on the occasion of Mother’s Day is staying true to the brand’s tagline ‘Healthy Mums, Happy Families while also further entrenching the brand affinity with the consumers.
Ifada further announced that beyond the Dubai trip for the MUM OF THE YEAR and a companion of her choice, she would also get one year product supply from Three Crowns throughout her reign as Three Crowns Milk Mum of the Year until a new winner is crowned next year.
She also explained that the winners of the gift voucher will get a customized Three Crowns Milk verve card loaded with the sum of N50, 000 which can be used to shop for their mothers. She noted that the brand would sustain the Mother’s Day initiative as an annual brand activation platform for rewarding consumers.
‘’Mother’s Day celebration is an occasion when individuals express their love and respect that they have for their mothers. It is usually characterized with presentation of gifts like cards, flowers, and presentation of poems and stories about mothers” she added.
