Buhari Budgets N133bn for Aso Villa, N169bn for NASS, N150bn for Judiciary
President Muhammadu Buhari has proposed to spend N133,730,697,750 to run the Presidential Villa in the 2023 fiscal year.
The was part of the over 20 trillion appropriation bill laid before a joint session of the National Assembly on Friday.
According to the details of the Bill, the National Assembly proposed budget was put at N169 billion; while that of the Judiciary was proposed to be N150 billion.

Other proposals include: Ministry of Defence N1,248,170,610,116; National Security Adviser N195,018,151,836; Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), N50 billion.
The Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning is expected to spend N10,101,444,709,834; Ministry of Education ,N1,078,421,185,229; Ministry of Health, N1,097,703,830,504; Ministry of Works and Housing, N356,031,701,295; and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, N98,114,501,448.
All the proposals are subject to the vetting and approval of both the Senate and House of Representatives.
