On The Confirmation Of DCG Abdullahi Babani Of Nigeria Customs

I could not be more thrilled after receiving the news of Alhaji Abdullahi Babani’s confirmation as DCG of Nigerian Customs Service, a position he held in an acting capacity for a year now.

Everyone wants to taste success, but success only follows the ones who are true to their approach of pursuing it. After coming closer to him, witnessing his selflessness and dedication toward serving the nation, I can’t think of a better person to achieve all that is achievable than Madakin Katagum.

Promotion is all about the three critical S’s – Success, Sincerity and Sacrifice. There is no point of contention that Madaki is one of the best in managing the three S’s diligently. Family, friends, colleagues, subordinates, and bosses will all testify to witnessing his display of the three S’s with absolute honesty.

Service in acting capacity, comes with more responsibilities, bigger targets, tighter deadlines, higher expectations and much more, but deep down all of us out here believed in Madaki’s ability to deliver, because by his previous successes, he has shown the world that he is capable of achieving the impossible. Yet again, Madaki proved us right by securing this confirmation.

Congratulations would not be an apt word to celebrate what Madaki has achieved with his perseverance and hard work. I will only pray for his continued success and Allah’s guidance in the journey ahead.
