List of 43 Federal Permanent SecretariesPresident Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has approved deployment of 11 Permanent Secretaries in the Federal Civil Service while retaining 32 others in their current posts. Among those redeployed is Mr. Danladi Kifasi from Ministry of Aviation to Ministry of Finance. He is a lawyer, chartered accountant and a member of NIPSS (mni). Others redeployed include Prof. S. Ogamdi from OHCSF to Labour & Productivity; I G. Mahe from OHCSF to Culture and Tourism; Goni Musa Sheik from Mines and Steel to Petroleum Resources; Mrs. E. B. Emuren from Petroleum Resources Mines and Steel and S. B. Ozigis from Culture and Tourism to Interior.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Mr. Stephen Oronsaye issued the posting circular.
Meanwhile the Economic Confidential was informed that with this development more appointments into boards of agencies and parastatals that have remained vacant for sometimes will be announced soon. There are presently more than 200 vacant posts for positions of chairmen, chief executive officers, members and directors of various board of agencies.
