
Customers Are Our Biggest Partner In Progress – KEDCO MD
Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) says its customers remain its biggest partner in progress and the reason for any innovation introduced by KEDCO.
Dr Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna (Sardaunan Gombe), The Managing Director of KEDCO reiterated this in a media chat with newsmen, noting that a new customer relation programme had been introduced to give quick response to their complaints.
Gwamna said as the largest electricity distribution company in Nigeria by customer population, it was necessary for KEDCO to always fashion out ways to manage the demands of customers by quickly responding to issues relating to complaints of any sort so that the satisfaction of their numerous customers would be guaranteed.
According to him, to show that KEDCO values its customer, a customer centric outfit was introduced to give quick response to complaints; he added that the attention of the company was shifting from just receiving complaints to effective and quick response system to make their customers the happiest in Nigeria.
“Every innovation that we introduce in KEDCO is to the delight of our numerous customers who are always our biggest partner in progress. We have introduced a lot of customer-friendly innovations in the past and we are not relenting in that regard.
“Based on the demands of the consumers of the energy we distribute, we have been able to improve on our operational outlooks and we are working hard to sustain such. From receiving complaints, we have moved to responding to complaints as quickly as possible with a view to addressing any pending complaints.
“More innovations are coming on board to ensure that customers get the best service in terms of relations,’’. He said.
Kano DisCo boss added that any customer with useful information or complaints about services rendered could approach any KEDCO offices nearest to them to fill in a complaint form or call customer service centre on 080987453211.
He also appealed to the general public to use the phone number or any KEDCO offices, to report cases of theft, vandalism or attempts to sabotage the efforts of the company towards satisfying energy consumers in Kano, Katsina and Jigawa States.
