Our Concern In Business Remains Customers’ Satisfaction – KEDCO Boss
The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO), Dr Jamilu Isyaku Gwamna (Sardaunan Gombe), says the company’s business concern remains the satisfaction of their customers.
Gwamna who re-emphasised this in a chat with newsmen in Kano on Saturday, said any successive business can only thrive when customer’s satisfaction becomes a priority to be pursued.
He said it was only when customers are happy doing business with a company that they won’t hesitate to pay their bills as and when due, adding that as long as the customers were the ones putting KEDCO in business, the concern of the company would remain their satisfaction.
“We are in business because our customers are there for us. No business can thrive if there are no customers putting them in operation. This is why customer’s satisfaction will remain our concern; because if the customers refuse to pay their bills as a result of dissatisfaction, then we will be out of business in no time.
“In KEDCO, we have said it and keep saying it that our relationship with our customers is a symbiotic one because we serve them for them to help us serve them subsequently.
“As long as I can remember, we are the only corporate organisation that renders service before payment especially in areas where that have not been metred. This means that the services rendered in February will be paid for in March. All this shows the importance, we have attached to our customers.
“We will not relent in efforts to make customers happy in our partnership to ensure power get to the nooks and crannies of communities; so that we can get more people happy,’’ he said.
The Kano DisCo boss said since they were in a symbiotic relationship with customers, he therefore charged consumers of power to put them in business by paying their bills as and when due, adding that KEDCO was working out better ways of satisfying customers and minimising complaints of all sorts.
