NRS Launches Rev360 to Track Tax Defaulters, Simplify Compliance

The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has launched Rev360, a digital tax administration platform designed to identify tax defaulters and simplify compliance for taxpayers.

Executive Chairman Dr Zacch Adedeji described Rev360 as a transformational tool that will support the Service’s transition to Tax Administration 3.0, improving service delivery, compliance management, transparency, and taxpayer engagement.

“The launch reinforces our commitment to innovation, digital transformation, and building a modern revenue system that is efficient, transparent, and responsive,” he said.

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Taiwo Oyedele, represented by Mohammed Sanusi, praised the initiative, noting that technology-enabled tax systems are vital for creating a predictable, business-friendly environment that supports growth and national development.

He assured that the ministry would provide full support for Rev360’s implementation, describing it as the first phase of a broader transformation journey aimed at simplifying taxpayer interactions and boosting confidence in the system.

The platform is designed to improve taxpayer onboarding, filing, payment processing, compliance management, and support services, offering greater visibility and convenience.

Executive Director (Technology) Iniabasi Akpkan explained that Rev360 makes tax payment faster and more convenient, encouraging voluntary compliance. “If people can pay more easily, they will pay faster, conveniently from their offices or homes,” he said.

The initiative is expected to strengthen investor confidence, improve Nigeria’s ease of doing business ranking, and support the Federal Government’s broader economic reform agenda.

Rev360 lays the foundation for a data-driven, intelligent tax administration system, positioning Nigeria to modernise its revenue collection framework and reduce tax evasion.
