Nigeria, S/Arabia Partner on Tech, Startup Growth
The Solution Innovation District (SID), an initiative of the Anambra State Government, has signed a bilateral Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dhahran Techno Valley Holding Company (DTVC) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to deepen collaboration in innovation, research and technology investment.
The agreement aims to strengthen startup acceleration, entrepreneurship development, research collaboration and technology commercialisation between both institutions.
The MoU reflects a shared commitment to building innovation ecosystems that support local economic development while promoting global knowledge exchange.
Under the agreement, both parties will collaborate in key areas including startup and venture acceleration, co-investment and business development, knowledge sharing and industry engagement, networking platforms, and joint events for innovation exchange.
SID is a technology-driven initiative of the Anambra State Government focused on fostering entrepreneurship, research development and commercialisation of innovation to drive inclusive economic transformation.
DTVC, based in Saudi Arabia, operates as a science and technology hub dedicated to research and development, industry partnerships and technology commercialisation. The organisation supports startups through funding access, mentorship and strategic networking to accelerate innovation and sustainable economic growth.
