NNPC Targets Enhanced Refining Capacity at Warri and Kaduna Plants
The Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd.) has announced plans to enhance refining quality and ensure sustained production at its Warri and Kaduna refineries. The company will adopt new maintenance and compliance measures, deploy cutting-edge technology solutions, and engage in sustainable and profit-driven measures.
NNPC Ltd. is seeking a short and long-term Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services contract for the Warri Refining and Petrochemical Company (WRPC) and Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC). The contract will cover various aspects, including production planning, maintenance execution, quality control, and environmental management.

The key objective of the O&M services is to guarantee steady and sustained refining production while adhering to best maintenance and regulatory compliance ethics at minimal cost. The tender procedure will involve a three-stage process: Expression of Interest, Technical, and Commercial.
The O&M services are expected to improve the refining process, ensuring quality through the application of latest technology, including Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) and Warehousing Management System (WMS). The contract will cover all refining areas, including production of refined products such as MIXED LPG, PMS, HHK, ATK, AGO, and LPFO.
By implementing these measures, NNPC Ltd. aims to enhance the efficiency and productivity of its Warri and Kaduna refineries, ensuring a steady supply of refined products to meet the country’s energy demands.
