Transportation Crimes: Minister Meets Police Service Commission
The Minister of Transport, Senator Sa’idu Ahmed Alkali, has held a meeting with the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC), Solomon Arase, in a bid to bolster inter-agency cooperation and coordination of security and safety around transpiration infrastructure in the country.

During the meeting, held in Abuja on Thursday, the two officials deliberated on key areas of mutual interest, including the security of transportation infrastructure and the safety of commuters.
They duo also discussed strategies for combating transportation-related crimes and improving regulatory measures within the transportation sector.
Senator Alkali expressed his commitment to fostering a harmonious working relationship between the Ministry and the Nigerian Police authorities, emphasising the importance of synergy in addressing security challenges within the transportation industry.
He highlighted the imperative of proactive measures to ensure the safety and security of citizens utilising various modes of transportation across the country.
