TETFund Will Host Innovative Research Exhibition in Abuja

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) will hold a five-day Research Exhibition in Abuja starting November 17, 2024. The event will take place at Eagle Square and highlight the latest innovations and groundbreaking research across Nigeria.

Minister of Education, Prof. Tahir Mamman, announced that the exhibition aims to foster collaboration between institutions, organisations, and individual innovators. He emphasised that the fair aligns with President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which seeks to boost the economy by generating jobs, creating wealth, and improving the general welfare of Nigerians.

The exhibition will be free for both participants and attendees, providing a platform for researchers, inventors, and creators to showcase their technologies. The event will be open to the general public, with additional details available on the TETFund website.

Sonny Echono, TETFund’s Executive Secretary, expressed gratitude to the Minister for supporting the initiative and encouraged all Nigerians, including research institutes and private inventors, to participate and display innovations that could lead to job creation and economic development.
