S/Arabia Unveils Guest Speakers for 2024 Global AI Summit
Saudi Arabia has announced its lineup of headline speakers for the Global AI Summit 2024, hosted by the Saudi Data & Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA).
This was made known on Monday in Abuja by Saudi Arabia’s Press Attache, Mohammed AI-Sahabi.
The summit, which aligns with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to diversify the economy, aims to foster global collaboration and explore the transformative potential of AI across industries.
“The Global AI Summit will be a landmark event in shaping the future of AI,” said SDAIA’s official spokesperson, Eng. Majed Al-Shehri. “The theme ‘Now, Next, Never’ challenges us to consider the immediate implications, future innovations, and ethical responsibilities that come with AI technologies.
“This is a technology that is hugely promising, but we cannot afford to get it wrong. AI integration must be sustainable and for the betterment of society.”

The summit will feature over 300 speakers, including innovators, academics, executives, regulators, and decision-makers from 100 countries worldwide. The deliberations will center around the summit’s theme: “Now, Next, Never”. Sessions will discuss technology’s transformative impact on people and communities, real-world benefits of AI, future trajectory, and ethical considerations necessary for responsible AI development.
The lineup of global speakers includes Cristiano Amon (President & CEO, Qualcomm Incorporated), Nick Studer (President & CEO, Oliver Wyman Group), Dr. Marc Raibert (Chairperson, Boston Dynamics), and many more.
“The strong presence of global leaders, especially from the consulting industry, highlights AI’s pivotal role in business transformation and global innovation,” added Al-Shehri.
“Their commitment to collaboration is crucial as we seek to resolve the many questions that this technology raises.”
The Global AI Summit (GAIN) will take place on September 10-12, 2024, at the King Abdulaziz International Convention Centre, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
