Traders in many parts of Lagos State have locked up their businesses as protesters begin demonstration at the government Secretariat in the Alausa Area of the state today.
As of the time of filing this report, popular locations such as Ojodu-Berger, Ikorodu axis and many parts of the states looked deserted as residents remained indoor.
It was gathered that most business owners decided to remain at home due to fears of potential violence, looting, and concerns for their personal safety.

“I hope the protest end soon because I sell perishable goods, locking my shop for long will lead to loss and that worries me.”
Chidi Obi, a thrift seller in Oshodi said, ‘It’s best to monitor the situation before engaging in any business at the moment, my kind of business is different because I have to display all the clothing along the foot path, the level of theft that occured during #EndSARS protest by some hoodlums led to losses, I can’t take that risk so its best to remain indoors for now”.
