Tinubu Names Dan Agundi NPC DG, Makes Other Key Appointments
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of former head of Kano Road Transport Authority (KAROTA), Baffa Dan Agundi as the new Director-General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC).
This was contained in a statement signed by the special adviser to the president on media and publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, who said Mr. Dan Agundi is a former majority leader of the Kano State House of Assembly.
He was also the Principal Registrar of the Kano State High Court of Justice.
President Tinubu also appointed Mr. Silas Agara as the new Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE).
However, Mr. Ngelale you disclosed that the NDE will be overhauled to combat unemployment in the country.

The president also appointed Mr. Umar Mohammed as the new Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency.
The Presidential spokesman, made this known in a separate statement titled ‘President Tinubu appoints new Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency.’
According to the statement, Mohammed is an architect, and also, a construction technology and environment professional.
The statement however said that
“The President expects improved outcomes in the agency’s objective of operating and maintaining hydrological stations nationwide, as well as carrying out groundwater exploration and monitoring using various scientific techniques in order to provide hydrological and hydrogeological data needed for planning, design, execution and management of water resources and allied projects.”
