Inflation Hit 29.90% in January 2024 – NBS

Nigeria’s inflation rate has jumped significantly to 29.90 percent in January, 2024.

According to the latest report from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), the country’s inflation rate reached a record high of 29.90% in January from 28.92 percent in December, 2023.

The NBS report indicated that the inflation rate increased by 0.98% from December to January, reaching its highest level in recent times.
