Despite N5.3M Salary, I Struggle To Make Ends Meet – Nigerian UK Nurse Cries Out
A Nigerian nurse based in the UK, Wemimo, has posted on social media about her struggles to make ends meet despite her salary of £2,767 (approximately N5.3 million).

After taxes and deductions, she is left with just £1,973 (approximately N3.8 million), which she says is not enough to cover the high cost of living in the UK.
According to her, “It’s high time men in the diaspora whose wives are Nurses step up and start helping in the family. I don’t think I have seen any family surviving on one income in the UK.”
