Bauchi Begins Payment of N30,000 Minimum Wage
The Bauchi State government says it has approved the consequential adjustment of the N30,000 minimum wage for all state civil servants on Grade Level 07 and above in both state and local government levels effective December 1st, 2022.

The statement also disclosed that Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the implementation of the financial benefits on staff promotions in both state and local government services with effect from December 1st, 2022.
The Permanent Secretary explained that the government is diligently working towards domesticating the harmonised retirement age for teachers in both primary and secondary schools in the state.
