Ex-Ivorian Footballer, Didier Drogba, did not Convert to Islam, PRNigeria Check-Fact Reveals
Nigeria’s leading fact-checking platform, PRNigeria, has debunked the report of former Ivorian soccer legend, Didier Drogba’s convertion from Christianity to Islam.
A post recently emerged on social media platforms claiming that Drogba has converted to Islam.
But PRNigeria’s investigation revealed that Drogba, himself, debunked the widely shared post that announced his conversion to Islam via his Twitter handle. (https://prnigeria.com/2022/11/08/fact-check-drogba-islam/)
“This story is going viral 😅 but I haven’t changed religion. This was just me paying respect to my Muslim brothers I was visiting in my village. A moment of togetherness. Much love and blessings to all,” he Twitted.
