Flight Disrupted as Aviation Workers Shut down Lagos Airport
Passengers at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos were left stranded on Tuesday morning as aviation workers shut down the airport Terminal Two (MMA2).
The aviation workers, under the aegis of air transport services senior staff association of Nigeria (ATSSSAN), says they are protesting the sacking of their colleagues by Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Limited.

The association also threatened a showdown and demanded payment of its members, their terminal entitlements and reversal of the leave of absence given to them, adding that failure to do so will resort in it using “any known means to fight for members’ rights.”

This disrupted early morning flights and the protest is said to go on till further notice.
Additionally, the association warned of a showdown and demanded payment of its members’ terminal entitlements and the reversal of the leaves given to them, stating that failure to do so would lead to legal action.
