Nigeria Stock Investors Realised N262bn Over The Holiday

Nigeria Stock investors  realised over N262.8 billion following the resumption of trading activities after the public holiday for Workers Day and Eld-el-Fitr celebrations.

This was revealed in the Nigerian Exchange Limited data which shows that the market capitalisation of the equities listed on the NGX rose by 0.98 per cent to N27.023tn on Wednesday.

On the Nigerian exchange, there are 156 publicly listed companies that are traded daily and All-Share Index tracks the general market movement of all listed equities on the Nigerian Exchange.

According to NGX data, 31 companies reported gains at the end of Monday’s trading, while 27 companies reported losses.

Meanwhile, the trading revealed 669.299 million shares valued at N5.988bn traded in 7,251 transactions.
