Despite Attack on Operatives, NDLEA Nabs Female Kingpin, Five others with 6000kg of Drugs

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) on Saturday defied resistance and attack on them by successfully arresting a notorious drug kingpin in Lagos.

The female kingpin was reportedly arrested with five other suspects in the Petty area of Lagos Island with almost 6000kg of illicit drugs.

According to NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, the lady had initially resisted arrest and mobilised thugs to attack the NDLEA operatives before they were all over-powered.

A social media update of Babafemi on the development which was accompanied with a video read: “A lot of fake narratives have been going on, on what happened at the Petty area of Lagos Island earlier today. Please disregard them. Truth is our operatives went for the arrest of a major drug kingpin and we got her and 5 others with almost 6,000kg of drugs despite attacks on our men”
