
TETFUND, NARC Collaborate On Research And Development
Tertiary Education Fund (TETFUND) and Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) have sought collaborations on research development.
The Director General of Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC), Major General Garba Ayodeji Wahab (rtd) who paid a courtesy call on the Executive Secretary, Professor Suleiman Elias Bogoro in Abuja said both agencies shared some mandates in common.
General Wahab said the Nigerian Army Resource Centre (NARC) a service think-tank with national and global outlook providing research based solution to national security issues.
The centre collaborates with relevant agencies to organise seminars and workshops on national security as well as organise courses in different areas.
According to him, NARC is also collaborating with global institutions to carry out research.
Maj.-Gen. Garba Wahab, said that the centre had worked tirelessly to deliver on its mandate and would be glad to colloborate with TETFUND in the area of research and development.
In his response, the Executive Secretary TETFUND, Prof Bogoro said that Fund is committing resources to Research and Development (R&D) activities.
He said the move was to pursue the drive for the institutionalisation of research and development, especially the constitution of R&D standing committee which was put in place.
He therefore expressed readiness of the fund to collaborate with NARC in the area of research and development.
