Fed Govt Opens April Savings Bonds

The Federal Government has through the Debt Management Office opened the April savings bond offer to investors.

The DMO on Tuesday disclosed on its website the two-year and three-year savings bonds offers for subscription.

They are two-year FGN bonds due on April 14, 2023 at 5.522 per cent per annum; and three-year FGN savings bond due on April 14, 2024 at 6.522 per cent per annum.

They opened on April 6 with a closing date of April 9.

While the settlement date is April 14, they have coupon payment dates of July 14, October 14, January 14 and April 14.
