Lockdown: Joint Border drill Seizes 674 bags of Rice in Kwara

The Nigeria Customs Service(NCS) Joint Border Operations Drill(JBOD) sector 3 has seized 674 baga of foreign rice within the lockdown order amidst COVID-19 pandemic.

Sector 3 of the Task Force covers Benue, Kogi, Kwara and Niger States of North Central Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Public Relation Officer of Customs Service, Kwara Command, Mr Zakari Chado, to newsmen in Ilorin on Thursday.
Chado stated that President Muhammadu Buhari in his recent nationwide broadcast announced the lockdown of some states and the total closure of both Airports and land land borders, to avoid the spread of Coronavirus.
