
Nigeria, Italy To Partner On Economic Cooperation
The Federal Government and the Government of Italy have agreed to sign a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between both countries.
The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, Dr Nasir Sani-Gwarzo, disclosed this when the Deputy Head of Mission, Italian Embassy in Nigeria, Mr Tarek Chazli, paid him a courtesy visit in Abuja.
Gwarzo, who was represented by the Director, Legal Services in the ministry, Mrs Bola Adewale, said there was a need to sign an MoU between the two countries to explore more areas of collaboration for their mutual socioeconomic development.
