
Kano fair: Dangote Special Day holds December 8
The Dangote Special Day at the Kano International Trade Fair has been scheduled for the 8 December 2019 at 11am prompt.
Dangote, a co-sponsor of the fair is exhibiting its variety of products at the fair.
The GED, Dangote Group, Engr. Mansur Ahmed is expected to be special guest of the occasion.
The Group Chief Corporate Communication Officer, Mr. Anthony Chiejina in a statement, said the fair offers opportunity to customers, distributors and visitors to the Pavilion the opportunity to view the products and network with the group on its various production lines.
Governor of Kano State, Dr. Umar Ganduje, commended Aliko Dangote for his support to the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, and the State in general.
Aliko’s policies and programmes have impacted Kano state immensely through provision of quality health facilities, improvement of educational institutions, empowerment of women and youth etc for the overall wellbeing of the people of Kano.
Governor Umar Ganduje, while declaring the fair open, said Aliko Dangote and other sponsors’ collaboration with Government and the Chamber have gone a long way in enhancing commerce and industry of the ancient City.
President of the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, KACCIMA, Dalhatu Abubakar, while speaking at the fair, said KACCIMA appreciates and accord special regards to the official partners of the 40th Kano International Trade Fair for their contribution to its success.
We have hope that the fair will be most rewarding as we host hundreds of national and international investors to exhibit at the fair.
The Sarkin Shanu of Kano, Alhaji Shehu Mohammed who was chairman of a session, in his speech titled: “How can agriculture value chain contribute to development”, at the on-going fair, said government at all level should focus their attention on developing the Agriculture sector because the “Federal Government is poised to replace Oil with the Platinum scoring sector-agriculture, for the benefit of Nigerians.
