The management of Economic Confidential has approved the appointment of award-winning business journalist Ewache John Ajefu as new Acting Editor of the factual and authoritative Nigeria’s Economic Magazine.

Ajefu, the immediate past Head of Business and Economy with FirstAfricaNews, replaces Sanya Adejokun who left the services of the organisation in January this year.

Mr. Ajefu who has over 20 year experience in business reporting, was Business Editor of National Accord Newspapers, and was Bureau Chief and Head of Northern Operations with Thewill Newspaper, Newage Newspapers and News Star Newspapers respectively. He was a pioneer staff with the defunct National Interest Newspapers.

A graduate of London School of Journalism, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations from the University of Nigeria. He is a member of Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) among other professional bodies.

He is widely travelled locally and international on seminars, media coverage and International Conferences.

Mr. Ajefu is married and has children.
