Friesland Campina WAMCO Nigeria Plc, celebrate its 60th anniversary of nourishment in Nigeria. During the celebration recently in Lagos, the handlers of the brand unveiled a new packaging for one of its top brands, Peak Milk.
Also on the night, a new television commercial, built around optimism and titled, the future is bright, was presented to the guests, who had come to celebrate with the company.
The anniversary pack dubbed the Peak Easy Open has a lid that opens and closes easily.
The new pack was unveiled with theatrical presentations that narrated the company’s journey into Nigeria and how it has grown surmounting the many potholes on its path to being the market leader in its sector.
The guests were entertained with a mix of dance, drama and poetry as the company narrated his stories, successes, challenges and contributions towards developing Nigerians and contributing to the growth and development of the country.
The narration also highlighted that over the years, the brand has been a family product that has nourished young and old Nigerians helping them to dream and reach for the peak of their endeavours.

In his welcome address, the Managing Director, Rahul Colaco, in a very brief speech, said that they knew what they wanted when they set out and it was principally to feed and nourish Nigerians. He said that they are happy to be sixty and not willing to relent in its commitment to the Nigerian people and the country.
Further speaking he stressed said that, as they move forward, they are willing to provide that nourishment needed for Nigerians to dream and build their future aspirations.
Adding; “Over the last 60 years, Peak has continued to be strong throughout the several changes in the market.
According to him, “We attribute our success to two things. First, our focus is to consistently nourish Nigerians with quality dairy nutrition in order to reach their Peak. Second, we continually explore ways of standing out of the crowded shelf and touching every part of the consumers’ lives”.
Also speaking, the Marketing Director, Tarang Gupta, in his closing remarks at the event, said that it is a special moment for the company as the brand not just nourish but inspire and motivate people, adding that they are happy as a team because of the support it has provided Nigerians over the years.
