
At a ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya, Transcorp Hilton Hotel Abuja was voted Nigeria’s Leading Hotel
Transcorp Hilton Abuja has been honoured with the prize of ‘Nigeria’s Leading Hotel 2013’ awarded by World Travel Awards. Based on travel experts reviews and guests voting, the hotel was declared the winner out of the six hotels nominated from Nigeria. The announcement was made before the crème de la crème of the travel industry at the World Travel Awards Africa Gala Ceremony which took place at Safari Park Hotel & Casino in Nairobi, Kenya.
Valentine Ozigbo, CEO of Transnational Hotels & Tourism Services Limited, Owners of Transcorp Hilton Abuja, said “ We are delighted with the international recognition especially coming from the highly reputed World Travel Awards. The award is an added impetus for our ongoing efforts to maintain excellence.”
The hotel was also represented at the Awards ceremony by the Director of Business
Development Vikram Jamwal and the Public Relations Manager, Shola Adeyemo who both received the awards for Conrad Pezula and Hilton Zamalek Residences on behalf of Hilton Worldwide.
The recognition from the World Travel Awards arrived on the heels of the hotel winning the hosting rights for the World Economic Forum on Africa 2014.
