The Secretary to the Imo State Government, Chief Cosmos N. Iwu on behalf of the state has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Diamond Group for the construction of one thousand-unit housing estate along the Port Harcourt/Owerri road, a move he said would address the shortage of accommodation in Imo state.
Chief Iwu added that the project when completed would ease the burdens some go through to secure accommodation. He also promised that the state would live up its part of the MoU.
Managing Director of Diamond Group, Engr. Kenn Obiora Nwabuoku assured that the firm would deliver to specification on the project.
