FEDERATION ACCOUNT: ADDITIONAL ALLOCATION IN MAY 2008

 

TABLE OF DISTRIBUTION OF EXCESS CRUDE PROCEEDS OF N67.8BILLION IN MAY 2008

As part of the three allocations in May 2008, the Economic Confidential magazine provides here the distribution of the sum of =N=67,840,942,886.50 from Domestic Crude Proceeds being difference of May 2008 Budget and Actual Revenue. Other allocations are in Fact and Figures pages. From the total disbursement of nets, the highest recipients are Rivers receiving N4bn, Akwa Ibom N2bn, Delta N2bn and Bayelsa N1.8bn, Kano N1.3bn, Lagos N1bn and Katsina N1bn.

The lowest recipients are Gombe N567million, Nasarawa N566million, Ebonyi N545million and Ekiti 576million. The Economic Confidential can also confirm that FG received N31bn while FCT Councils were allocated N108million. Nigerian Customs Service(NCS) and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) did not received any allocation from the Excess Crude Proceeds.
