Gross summary of Statutory Revenue and VAT Allocations to 3tiers of Government,

NCS and FIRS at the Federation Account Allocation Committee Meeting of March 2008

 

From the total disbursement of nets after deductions, the highest recipients are from the oil producing states with Rivers receiving N15.2bn, Akwa Ibom N10.7bn, Delta N7.9bn and Bayelsa N6.8bn. The highest recipients from non-oil –producing states are Lagos N7.3bn, Kano N6.4bn and Katsina N4.8bn.

 

The lowest recipients with less thanN3bn as is authoritatively revealed in the table below by the Economic Confidential are  Gombe N2.5bn, Nasarawa N2.5bn, Ebonyi N2.6bn and Ekiti N2.8bn. Economic Confidential can also confirm other disbursements in March 2008: Federal 121bn,FCT Councils N786 million, Nigerian Customs Service(NCS) N1.3bn, and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) N2.bn. There was also disbursement of $2billion from Excess Crude Account, which was converted to Naira.  The Economic Confidential will provide the table of the allocations from the Excess Crude Account in our next edition)
